Mission Statement:
UNA VOCE, KENTUCKY AND SOUTHERN
INDIANA, AMDG CHAPTER
MISSION STATEMENT
The Latin Mass community of Kentuckiana
has formed this Una Voce Chapter in the
Louisville, Kentucky area for the purpose of
uniting those who are like-minded and see
value in the Extraordinary Form of the
Roman Rite and the time-honored Traditions
of the Church, including the use of Latin,
Gregorian Chant, and sacred polyphony in the
Liturgy. We wish to express, in our
membership and activities, unity with the
Church through our local Ordinary and
profess obedience to him, as his authority
mandates. Through various media, it is our
intention to promote and provide education
about the Extraordinary Form and other
Traditions in the Church and to be a
resource for parishes and priests who wish
to celebrate the Mass as our Holy Father,
Benedict XVI, has recently permitted in his
Motu Proprio “Summorum Pontifcum”.
Our membership wishes to be an asset to the
diocese by providing support, when possible,
in its mission to the faithful in both
Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy.
Through the unification of the faithful who
value the Extraordinary Form of the Roman
Rite, we hope to encourage and maintain the
rich Traditions that are the history of the
Roman Catholic Church.
